On this day in 2008, the Golden Dreams attraction closed at Disney’s California Adventure. It was a film about the history of California starring Whoopi Goldberg as Califa, the Queen of California. It was an opening day attraction and ran for 7 1/2 years. Golden Dreams closed to make way for the Voyage of the Little Mermaid attraction.
